Rolling Meadows community has many outstanding features.
Location: Our location gives us easy access to Route 1 from Dartmouth Drive. Our entrance onto Route 1 is at a 4 way stoplight (Kings Highway is the other main crossroad here) so we don't have any trouble exiting or entering our neighborhood from either direction in the summer. This feature should not be dismissed. It will save you lots of time on the summer weekends. We are close to both the Lewes Beach and the Rehoboth Outlets. We are a very short walking distance from Wawa, The Kitchen Store, Home Goods and Cape Wine and Spirits. Now that Route 1 has a sidewalk on our side of the highway (added in 2007) we can walk to other stores and restaurants as well although they are more than a short stroll away.
Community Pool: Rolling Meadows Pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. You must have a homeowner's pass to use the pool. Our 50-foot by 25-foot pool was built in 2011.
Community Clubhouse: Our clubhouse is located at the entrance to the community on your right.
Activities: Rolling Meadows has several organized committees and social groups. The women's lunch bunch meets once a month (except during summer months) at a different restaurant each time. The men's lunch group also meets once a month. The book club meets monthly in our newly renovated clubhouse. Rolling Meadows also has several informal exercise groups. One group meets twice a week at the clubhouse for aerobics. Another walking group laps the neighborhood each morning. We also have a community yard sale twice a year, several pool parties and a holiday party in December.
At Rolling Meadows you can be as active as you choose. We hope you'll participate in some way to get to know your neighbors.
