General Membership Meeting
Hope you all are enjoying your summer as we now look forward to some cooler temps and the lightening of the traffic on Route 1!!!
The RMHA General Membership Meeting this fall will be held on October 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the clubhouse. I hope to see you there.
During this membership meeting, there will be the annual election of officers to the Board for the year October 2015 to October 2016.
If you would like to be placed on the ballot, or would like to nominate someone to be on the ballot, please email the name(s) to our Board member, Don Metcalf at firstname.lastname@example.org. There will also be a sign up sheet at the party on August 22 (below) for nominations.
ELECTION BALLOTS ARE COMING
Yes, folks, it's that time of year again. It is time to elect Board Members for a one year term that will begin at the close of the General Membership Meeting on October 17, 2015, through the General Membership Meeting in October, 2016.
If any of you would like to be a member of the Board, please contact me, Libby Gibson, President of RMHA, using only my personal email address:
on or before September 10, 2015.
New board members are always welcome and needed. Being a board member is a very rewarding experience as it gives one an opportunity to give back to the lovely community in which they live.
So, watch your mailbox. Each property owner will soon receive the election ballot. There is one ballot with up to five votes per ballot allowed per Rolling Meadows lot owned. Please fill out the ballot, sign and return to Russ Kline, as noted on the ballot, no later than 10:00am, October 17, 2015, which is before the membership meeting begins. You can drop the ballot off in the mailbox near the front door of the clubhouse, mail it, or give it to any board member--whichever is easiest for you to do.
Thank you for your participation in this matter. This beautiful community thrives because of the volunteers that take care of it!!!

Rolling Meadows community has many outstanding features.
Location: Our location gives us easy access to Route 1 from Dartmouth Drive. Our entrance onto Route 1 is at a 4 way stoplight (Kings Highway is the other main crossroad here) so we don't have any trouble exiting or entering our neighborhood from either direction in the summer. This feature should not be dismissed. It will save you lots of time on the summer weekends. We are close to both the Lewes Beach and the Rehoboth Outlets. We are a very short walking distance from Wawa, The Kitchen Store, Home Goods and Cape Wine and Spirits. Now that Route 1 has a sidewalk on our side of the highway (added in 2007) we can walk to other stores and restaurants as well although they are more than a short stroll away.
Community Pool: Rolling Meadows Pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. You must have a homeowner's pass to use the pool. Our 50-foot by 25-foot pool was built in 2011.
Community Clubhouse: Our clubhouse is located at the entrance to the community on your right.
Activities: Rolling Meadows has several organized committees and social groups. The women's lunch bunch meets once a month (except during summer months) at a different restaurant each time. The men's lunch group also meets once a month. The book club meets monthly in our newly renovated clubhouse. Rolling Meadows also has several informal exercise groups. One group meets twice a week at the clubhouse for aerobics. Another walking group laps the neighborhood each morning. We also have a community yard sale twice a year, several pool parties and a holiday party in December.
At Rolling Meadows you can be as active as you choose. We hope you'll participate in some way to get to know your neighbors.
